In this training, you’ll learn what your main job duties are as a caregiver.

People who receive home care have different needs. Some may need help because of an illness, injury, or disability. Your job is to support their physical, emotional, and daily life needs—while helping them feel safe and respected in their own home.

Clients are assigned to you based on what they need and what you are trained to do. That’s why it’s important to always follow your assignment and ask for help if you’re unsure.

And just as important: show respect and gratitude. A simple “thank you” to your client helps remind them that they matter—and that you care. You are not just doing tasks—you are helping someone live a better life.
